When you make people feel seen, and heard, and you acknowledge their perceptions and opinions, it becomes really easy to get things done with them.
Whether you want to go to the mountains with your spouse, or you want your buyer to pick up your work, or you want your team member to commit to accountability:
Everything becomes a thousand times harder than it needs to be, if you don’t first and foremost make people feel seen.
And this is extremely easy to accomplish, because all it takes is quality listening, and letting your conversation centre around the way they see and experience things, before you ever get to working on your goal or your mission.
This is why Sales for Nice People works, and it’s why it’s an approach to selling that both you and your buyer will love.
Because who doesn’t like being treated in a thoughtful and considerate way?
And, who doesn’t like giving people the time and attention, the thoughtful approach, that has the other person experience on a visceral level that you’re looking out for them?
Okay, perhaps those auto-leadgen folks don’t like it, the ones who keep spending money on ‘more volume!!!’, but who cares about them anyway? Their leads sure don’t, so let them to their volume-thing or whatever.
But us, good folk and nice people with a moral compass and consideration for others?
We like taking care of people. We steward over people's outcomes, and their decisions. We make [[📄 Serve more, sell more, earn more]].
If you haven’t read my book yet, it’ll show you how that works.
